First I've heard of it. Missing a string saddle too.

Probably more like Steve Howe using one on "The Steve Howe Album"

I'd love to have an EB-6 but I would run out of arms and legs and children to sell...

Never heard that one before. I know Steve Howe likes his EB-4 and it appears on his solo stuff, along with his '74 4001, but I can't think of any part of The Yes Album where Chris would have used this bass. I don't doubt that he owned it...

so if squire had access to howe's guitars...anything is possible, but i think it belonged to howe, thus the pics we've seen. and, was that a one-off ? he's the only human i've seen with one. they used lots of weird stuff to make tracks with on the albums that we don't really know about. maybe even a set of spoons, perhaps ?! who knows. i think steve would know this answer more than chris as he doesn't expound on things as much, giving less room for errors or fantasy. btw...there were supposed plans for a squire guitar book at some point in the '80's as well as an entwistle book.

There was one on the bay a while ago.

I contacted the seller and it is still for sale, the reserve is high but probably the going rate for these rare birds.
