My newish (Jeez, that's funny...it doesn't look newish...) Blackberry is the butt-dialing champion of the universe, even though I carry it in my jacket inside a zipped-up breast pocket.

This morning, in the car, it not only butt-dialed a friend long-distance, but it somehow put her on speaker phone. Three times.

I'm going to back to a flip-type. I don't tweet anyway. I woof.

  Nice.

That's why the iPhone rules the universe......you can never "butt-dial" because it's a puzzle simply dialing out on purpose! (well, drunk anyway...)

That, and it's also man's single greatest achievement so far. :)

At the end of the day this cool look and Clapton will sell phones. The only thing I have to decide now is what Clapton classic I will use as the ringtone. It's getting near dawn when lights close their tired eyes ...
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

My iPhone has a chromatic tuner on it, as well as a four-track recorder.

Does anyone have a link to the commercial? It was removed from YouTube, which IMO was a dumb move on Tmobile's part because it's, you know, free advertising.

I'll never forget the first time I saw and heard (quite audibly, I might add) talking on his cell phone. I thought the guy was certifiably insane and talking to his "voices." Then I saw what he was holding.

I still have nothing but my land line. And that's fine with me. I value my privacy and guard it jealously.

Jim, that was my feelings and why we had no cell phones. Why would I want one???

Then when I had two off to college my land line bills were over $220 a month. It took two months and a T-Mobil ad for a family plan to change my mind. For $110 a month I had 4 cell phones with national free long distance and no roaming, then add to that long road trips (6 and 11 hours). That is what changed my mind.

Yup, that would change my mind, too.

Then gag me twice because of Clapton's involvement. I thought he was way above that kind of schlepping...
I'll probably get flamed for this, but I think that Clapton's involvement in product promotion borders on the vulgar. He has had more 'signature' products released than anyone I can think of. He has no loyalty either - the Fender EC Stratocaster, the ES-335, Explorer, Martin acoustics, Digitech pedals and who knows what I've forgotten. In the 80's he did an interview where the reporter questioned him about his drug use and he gave an answer where he basically said that drug abuse didn't compare to the evil of alcohol and all the damage alcohol does. He then went on to become a spokesman for Michelob Beer and did a TV commercial for them. Then there's this thing he was involved in:

So yeah, he definitely schleps.

A quick Google search found him in a Honda tv ad too. Here are a couple of links:
