I am not sure. The link to the dimentions on the link you provided doesn't show the screw hole. I have a set of these on a guitar and I will say that they will add some noticable weight. In hindsight I would have used Sperzels as they are much lighter. They do work well though, very smooth and no slipage.

I'm not sure if the ferrules are long enough on those.......I don't think they are.

He could re-use the old ones if necessary. I would measure mine but I am not changing strings in the near future. The headstock is 15.5mm (apprx. 5/8") thick.
