A PhD for writing about the Beatles? I'm off to Austraila mate? I could use another PhD. How long were they in Austraila anyway? He must be a quick study. ******!

Thoughts on high prices going for Limited and other Ric's that are no longer being manufactured? 360/12V 64's going for over 2300 on Ebay? God loves a Ric but does he love 'em that much? Is it just market demand or does everyone think they found a Mickey Mantle rookie baseball card?

Music is too important to be left to professionals.

I can see where one could find Lennon's work self possessed or however he put it, some of it is a little egoistic to me also, but I think his work was intensly personal and he didn't give a damn what other people thought. I think Lennon wrote great music right up to his death. I dare say that he was a genius. On the other hand, I think McCartneys best days and music were with The Beatles. I think he needed Lennon and even Martin to bring out the best in him.
Even if there was some rivalry between the two (which I think was great, look what they accomplished in less than ten years), I think his premise is a little far-fetched, and I especially don't think that it came out in the lyrics, (except for two rather obvious songs). And actually I agree he is an idiot, haha!
