Someone got a great deal on a gorgeous '73 checkerboard

Post by ilan »

$2,319... I'd expect it to sell for more. It looks perfect. Someone got a great deal here!

Lots of drool-worthy hi-res pics:

Perhaps a bit of fretboard separation but no crack that I see.

It looks like a little fingerboard separation to me as well.

checkerboard - check, Wavy Grovers - check, toaster - check, gap tooth bridge - nope, fwi - nope

still a decent deal but, cash rules right now, and those who have the cash are gonna dictate the rules.

It sold within 8 minutes of being listed -- that's a sure sign that it was a good price. I'd say a few hundred under market despite the lack of FWI and gap-toothed tailpiece. You still don't see all that many early '73s for sale anywhere.

And now there's another from May '73! Man, these people must have a grudge against me or something.

OK, let's try this: you almost never see any 1999RMs for sale. Please?
