thanx, jeff for putting these up in your busy schedule, much appreciated.

the pics of the autumn glo 4000 SH-4113(sam moon band) and the jetglo 4001s UF-6622 with MD-1252 toaster were taken in early '82 in charlo new brunswick.
you'll see pics of the same autumnglo with the whole pickguard assy from the 4001s a few post down from the shots with the EV cabs while i'm wearing my silver "space suit" (actually my dads flight suit when he was a test pilot).

in the spacesuit pic you'll see the neck of my "harlequin" '77 stingray.

the steinberger bass was owned by me for the three weeks while we (titan) did a demo for kim fowley(runaways) by bob segarini north of toronto in '82. when we were done recording, the steinberger in gigbag, was placed on the bottom of a set of stairs that met the concrete floor of the loading dock by the roadcrew. when they backed up the 5 ton ryder truck , the rear wheels met the stairway and snapped the neck of my bass including crushing the pickups and guard. three weeks = $1800.00. also, you'll see the mapleglo deluxe MD-1252 with the pickup mods on the stand as well as the '81 jetglo 4001s. when we got back to halifax, i traded the MD for the autumnglo 4000 after taking out the toaster and placed it in the '81 jetglo 4001s. this toaster has always been with me, and has been in 4 ricks.

the conn strobe tuner you see in most of the pics was traded for the '68 fireglo deluxe in the above pics plus $300.00.

the above pics are my '64 4001s/rm1999, '68 deluxe, and the crawlspace bass, '70 mapleglo deluxe 21 fret . all the toasters are the longer alnico poles.

the yummy rick was made for my birthday in '87 (copy of my '64) along with an earth III strap...all that was left from my steinberger. stll have it.(the strap, i mean !) "give 'er " was a DWaRf saying.

Ronald, do you still have the "Harlequin" '77 StingRay?
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

partial to which 4001s...the '64 or the '81 ? (psssst...i think jeff hears voices in his head ! )

the shot above was taken in newfoundland in '83 during soundcheck and the only pic i know of . it's the '64 4001s/rm1999 still in the '57 chevy blue paint i found her in. the white pickguard i fashioned out of bristol board. the pickups are from the MD-1252 with a rear surround from MJ-4844. all other hardware was original as i found her. the headstock had a crack 3/4 crack around behind the nut on the back of the neck and two vertical cracks behind the truss rod cavity under the nut area. during the show, the headstock completely broke off. thank gott for backup basses which was a burgandyglo OI-6259 wt/trim. the complete headstock down to the third fret was replaced by monty egan in toronto, now of orangeville ont. at last reports. showed the repair to bassduke when he came to visit at xmas. the bass is now jetglo with a white headstock a la squire. pic a few posts above with the only three i currently own.

jeff...better get those voices checked out !
