Re: Weller and Foxton
After reading this thread yesterday I dusted off my Jam boxset for the drive to a gig in San Antonio. Such great tunes.
Re: Weller and Foxton
2/3 of the way there!
Very cool news. Band feuds fascinate me-----i'm still waiting for the Morrissey/Marr reunion to happen.
Hopefully Rick will wake up one day and realize ($$$$) that a reunion will be worth his time. The continued split is obviously personal differences only on Buckler's behalf, as he's spent the last couple years playing Jam songs with Foxton....he obviously still likes the music.

Aahhh, those were the days.
Re: Weller and Foxton
Hopefully they will make quality music together again
Rick Buckler, while the original and only drummer, is easily the most replaceable of the trio. If they had success without Weller doing Jam material, I'm sure they will have no problem finding a proper drummer.
This is exactly why I love this forum! The info, wit, and sense of humour give it the humanity that makes it stand head and shoulders above the rest. Always learn something and have a good laugh here!

Foxton played on 2 Weller tracks for his new album 'Wake up the nation", which is out soon here in the UK.

Saw that Rob. The first time it was posted someone commented (now deleted) with a link to an MP3 of a large part of the song. Sounded good, there was quite a seventies Bowie vibe going on.
