Actually, in analytical chemistry there are phrases that seem to be oxymoronic ... but aren't. An example of one commonly seen:
Accurately weigh about 1.2 g of ...

I heard one recently that I cannot remember, but it was a good one.

How about pleonasms and/or tautologies? Sorta opposites of oxymorons, if you will:

great big
tiny little
unsolved mystery
government spending
corrupt politician
eBay fraud

I have always thought that pleonasm - pleonastic and neoplasm - neoplastic were the coolest anagrams ...

Not an oxymoron, but the other day at work the e-mail system was down due to a migration to a different server ... and the instructions on how to reset everything was (drum roll) sent to us in an e-mail ...

IME the most useless emails at my University are those sent by the Executive Office, announcing yet another Vice President has been hired/appointed. We seem to have hundreds.

I keep waiting for the one announcing the appointment of a Vice President of E-Mails Announcing the Appointment of Yet Another Vice President.

Well, the latest trend at work with regard to meetings is:

1) prior to the meeting, have a long "pre-meeting" to go over the intended topic of discussion

2) have the meeting, but be sure not to have an agenda, so that other topics are covered in addition to the original topic for discussion

3) have a long follow-up meeting to go over what was discussed in the meeting

4) have a follow-up to the post-meeting follow-up meeting

 :(
