Amazing, such detailed work! Do I have this right, that was 264 lbs of aluminum when it started and then was reduced to just under 8 lbs?

Well, aluminum weighs 170 pounds per cubic foot...this was more than a cubic foot, so I'd have to say full-sized.

That's really cool!
I saw similar CNC machining performed yesterday at the Medical Design & Manufacturing West show yesterday at the Anaheim Convention Center.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Pretty amazing. I would think that all of those filings would saved and pressed/cast into another block of aluminum.
