In a word, yes. Way off base.

Selling product is only one part of the "business" equation. Production line timing and efficiencies are paramount to cost control. Spending time and materials making Accents that may or may not sell right away when you have TWO YEARS worth of GUITAR orders to fill would be STUPID.

If you had the choice of making a couple dollars selling parts or a several hundred dollars selling guitars which would YOU choose?

My Accent makes a great door stop.....I was thinking of bringing it out of retirement and making it into a tin opener. Then again ive a good tin opener.

Sean, there is an Accent available from Pick of the Ricks (last I saw). Mind you these are great folks at POTR, so don't go flying off the handle to them about any wrongly perceived deficiencies you might have regarding RIC.

RIC is a relatively small, privately owned company. They make guitars. They aren't exactly in the full-time parts business.

Well . . . offensive diatribe was deleted, if this serves as a good pointer to POTRs then I say keep it up.

Thanks though

Mate. Your accent is hard to understand at the best of times.

Seriously though, have you kicked yours into touch? I must admit that I don't really understand them on a Ric, but each to his own, and all that.
