By the way Billy, I have a Guild CE-100-D that I play live too. Mine is a 1968 model. From our day after Christmas "almost acoustic" (no bass or drums) show.
Great guitars!
Great guitars!

This pic was actually IN a Fender ad:jps wrote:Geez, there's not a Rick in sight!
Were you guys posing for a Fender ad or some such shenanigans?

Of course, it was one of those photo montage ads comprised of hundreds of photos, all of which measure about 1 mm by 2 mm.
Srsly!

Thanks; by the weirdest of coincidences, I opened up the "Musician's Friend 2010 Buyer's Guide" that just came in the mail, and I'll be darned if on page 4 there's a new "MAKE HISTORY American Standard" ad for Strats and Teles using the same background as the ad that came out awhile back. Much to my surprise I found myself in it fairly easily, same pic as above.jps wrote:Cool!
If anyone has the Buyer's Guide, in the ad on page 4, find the red Tele, and go straight up from the space between the bridge saddles and the bridge pickup. The pic is the second one up from the edge of the guitar. You'll see what I mean about how tiny it is, haha!

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Since I have tons of non-Rics and only one Ric, I have LOTS of pics of me playing non-Rics.
Here's me playing my LP Classic.

I might have been able to do that way back when on my 48th... But I doubt I would have been able to get up again...Brian Krashpad wrote:Haha, that was taken on my 48th birthday.johnallg wrote:Great pic! I used to be able to lay back like that - when I was about 6 or 8!
