Sure there was! Three posts in the thread.

The Peterson tuners (Strobostomp and Stroboflip) have sweetened tunings for 6 and 12 string, plus sweetened drop tuning, easy to set intonation, easy on batteries.

Downside is they are around $250.

I use two tuners with my 330/12: a Korg DT-1 (the exact same one Roger McGuinn uses on his DVD "The 12-String Guitar of Roger McGuinn") and the built in chromatic tuner on my Boss GT-3 Multi-effects unit. The Korg is a bit fragile for onstage use, so I mostly use the GT-3 tuner.
