Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
I assumed it was Martin. What interests me is the capos on both guitars, and that Hohner Pianet electric piano... I can't think of anything with all that in play, so maybe George is just helping to arrange something. "Girl" is another good candidate.
Man, all old Beatles pics should have sound.

I like that
I never considered it to be anyone other than Sir George (it is Sir, Right?)
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
Got to be Martin. Got to be in '65, and would think they may possibly be working on the arrangement for "I've Just Seen a Face". IIRC the intro was played with a capo on the 5th fret. 'Michelle' is just as likely with the capo used on the same 5th fret.

That's a Rubber Soul pic, so it's definitely not I've Just Seen a Face. You can see Paul's Rick bass on the floor next to his feet.
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
I guess it is, but it looks like someone else from this angle

These may've actually been from earlier in the thread, but appear to be the same session:

Definitely the same session! It says October 1965 on the caption.

A couple of photos. Hard to know what's been posted and what hasn't.
