4003 delivered the goods - as usual.

Post by s4001 »

Auditioned today for a working cover band. Tight band that gets really good large gigs.

Once the 4003 came out of the gigbag - 'Oooh, he's got a Rickenbacker.'

As usual, it sounded full and held the whole room together. Darn thing seems to play itself. I guess I'm preaching to the choir, but it looks quite positive that I'll get the gig. They've got other guys to audition, but I'm the badass with the Ric.

Good luck, I hope you get the gig!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Good luck, Scott! If you get the gig, will you be in two bands now?

Nice!

I've played all over with all types of guitars, and I honestly get way more people coming up and talking about my Rics than any others, and nearly everytime I jam with new guys they remark about the guitar.

Glad to hear it, Scott. :)

The progknowsys gigs are few between, but this band is more gig than rehearse, and heaven knows the extra cash would be nice.

The song I know best right now is titled, "My Foot Is KILLIN' Me" by Goutarama. I don't need my bass to play that one!!
