Here are 2 different shots of my 330FG.......
NO PINK HERE.......
NO PINK HERE.......
PINK!
PINK!
Is there really any pink on the guitar?
Nope, not a bit.
I guess it's just down to a combination of lighting and dodgy digital photography.

Rob,

That's a real beauty! How long have you owned it and how much did you pay for it?

You guys can keep kidding yourselves into believing there is no pink in FireGlo, if you want to. I see new ones at the store with accentuated pinkish orange centers. Who cares anyway, since JetGlo is the coolest Ric color by far.

Jetglo is cool, but it has far too much pink in it for me.

Hi Robert.

It's a 1998 330/6, and I've had it from new, so that's about 12 years.

It's my most treasured Ric, and I paid full price for it! :)

Here's my old 97 V64 next to my 66 345. The 345 is not nearly that pink under the pickguard.

Billy in general we were discussing the new 09 /10 models as for the new C63s im not sure if they are using the same spray technic as the others have, i might stand corrected on this.Do the C63s have the same paint colour as the regular production models? Anyone know? Lovely 345 Billy :D

Actually the first post by Forrest was in reference to an 89 V64. Which was definitely not "clownGlo" my 97 is more closer to ClowGlo for sure. I think the mid to late 90's FG is the posterchild for ClownGlo.

Can't agree with all from the late 90's Billy, my V64 is from there and it is a connoisseurs fireglo

2001-2002 should be included.

Yeah, my Jetglo's a very dark shade of pink... it shows in the right flas lighting on digital photography

I think the pink in Fireglo's coming from forms of electrical light - does it ever show outdoors in the sun? I doubt it...

I've worked for a firm where colourmatching could be done and its demonstration of how colours change in different forms of artificial light and natural light would open some people's eyes - the pink is really something produced by the guitar!

Rics seem to be the hardest to capture with cheap digital camera's all my fireglo's come out orange as can be, but they aren't.

Clown glo, I was expecting a rainbow glo with a bow on the neck. :D
