I see every FireGlo violation on display in this thread, and zero FireGlo compassion, sensitivity, or empathy.

Technically your version of my picture is right, Jeff.... My Purpleburst really was a gorgeous fireglo before its makeover. The color was beautifully ambered and was a very rich deep shade of reddish=brown at the edges. Would have kept it that way, but unfortunately it had severe finish checking issues.... so I'm happy with the transformation!

Here's my contribution to the FG lexicon: Fireglorious-- Fireglo finish over amazingly figured maple.

I think I have one, but it's very small and not a very good picture--I'll have to search through my files to find it, as the picture was taken about three computers ago!

Aha.... Found it a lot quicker than I thought.

It's the one in the middle.... But the center of the guitar didn't look as yellow in real life. The camera we had at that time was not very good, and I don't think the lighting was the greatest either.

I'll call that :

(9) "FireGlo Intrusion" : The act of always trampling on another's thread with a picture of THEIR FireGlo. This is equivalent to the old game of "one-up-manship". This is really just an example of "FireGlo Grandstanding" or "FireGlo Callousness".
You mean like this?

Richard, your Fireglo perfectly fits my definition of "Fireglorious."

I had better not start counting time in computers like you did Melissa. That would be way too embarassing. I've owned computers ever since they were first made available to the general public.
