381V69 on the Way

Post by 12_strings »

Finally pulled the trigger on this 2010 model. Will have more photos and details when I register it here next week. To be delivered March 9. Photo is from the seller. Posted here to avoid the FireGlo broohaha elsewhere.

Got it today. Fabulous! Taking it to my guitar guru and teacher to go over it carefully and then crank it up. Registered it here and will have new photos soon. Very lucky to have found this and to be able to swing the purchase. Life is good today.

Not the best photos but it is a particularly gloomy day here in Northeast PA. This guitar is anything but gloomy. Tremendous sustain and overtones. Not as heavy as I thought and totally flawless. Wonderful instrument. Ric does itself proud with this one.

A true beauty, Mark!

When you say it's not as heavy as you thought - how much heavier than a 330 or 360 is a 381 anyway? :?:
