I have it on good authority that it was assembled in Mos Eisley! It's a Jabba the Hut Custom Shop one-off!

Also the back of the body should be hollowed out with a plastic or fiberboard cover that is affixed by multiple screws around the perimeter.

Not so, here are two '57 800's and a '57 600:





The earlier examples had thicker bodies, hollowed out in various ways, with a back plate. They also had a German carve that went all the way around the guitar. Later ones, around '57, had totally solid bodies and a carve that ended at the pickguard.

It should also have a "long" jackplate/strap button assEMBLY with the serial # stamped on it, like this:

The solid-body 600's and 800's were thinner, so they didn't have enough room to fit the jackplate on the end of the guitar. All of the solid 600-800's I've seen, and some 850's, have the serial on the bridge plate, and have a jack inset into the body with no chrome plate:

Also, while it is clearly a refinish, that doesn't mean the fretboard isn't original. There have been a few weird, one-off combos with different finishes/options:
