Steve Earle/Buddy Miller

Post by Scastles »

Being a major Earle fan (as if my avatar didn't give it away), great video from about 11 years ago with Buddy Miller playing the lead on his 330/12. The Rick gets plenty of exposure, and is certainly the dominant guitar in the song.

That is a great tune. Love Buddy's playing, too.

Oh yea, from El Corazon. Transcental Blues is my favorite of his. Thank you.

Nobody...but NO BODY...coulda played this role better than Steve:

If that clip don't bring a tear to your eye, then you need to go right down to the shop where you pawned your soul and get that baby back outta hock...

I can't say there was a tear in my eye but Steve Earle has a way of talking, whether it's lines or just on his own, that forces you to listen when the topic is serious. He's another one of those songwriters that make me want to listen and then go write! It'd be hard to pick a favorite but I Ain't Ever Satisfied would begin the discussion.
