With the rate the 'C-series have been bringing, it's pretty clear what that guitar will go for. I bet I could peg it within $25. For those who don't know, Simmers and I were trying to get a 'V63 that had been on eBay a few weeks back with a starting bid of $2200 but also $150 for shipping. It was the original owner and it was his last of three Ricks and he was having a hard time deciding to sell it, despite being out of work. The description said "light fret wear", which raised a red flag for me. I didn't want to spend top dollar for a guitar that might need a fret job. I spent a couple of weeks trying to get him to sell it for $2000 plus shipping. He got to the point of getting a shipping box from the music store and then changed his mind. Maybe he found a job or something because Simmers' offer was considerably richer than mine. Or maybe he just realized how much he loved that Rick...
