A Happy Rickenbacker Birthday

Post by Dave12 »

A few months ago I found my “birthday present” (early)from my wife… a Rickenbacker 381/12 V69 MG – what a beautiful instrument! Sounds terrific (even with my poor playing) through the other half of my birthday present, a Traynor YCS50. When my birthday finally came around this month, my family threw a surprise party for me. Thought you all would enjoy seeing the cake!

Regards,
Dave

Someone went to a lot of effort so you could enjoy your day Dave. That is very cool! :D

I'll bet those full width inlays were the yummiest part of the cake !!
By the way, is Maple Glo cake sort of Yellow cake flavor, Lemon-flavor or more towards the Vanilla spectrum ??

Sounds like you have a very appreciative family and that its been a great Ricken-birthday celebration ! :D :D
