360/12 CW FG
I've been offered a 360/12CW FG in mint condition (I've not seen it) at a good price, but I'm also looking at a 1978 360/12 FG (which I have seen and it's sound) at a similar price. I know I would play the 1978 no problem as it is well used, but cared for, but wouls I be precious about the CW. What do you think?

I would go for the CW, JMO. The CW has toasters and a thin, resonant top, and looks better with 21 frets and flamed maple. It's also a limited edition, so it has more investment potential. The '78 will be thicker and heavier, as was the trend at that time.

I have a CW 6-string, and it's the most amazing guitar ever - my dealer's favorite model also, and he's seen them all.
You will not be sorry - I'd love to get a 12-string model, as well.
Get it and count yourself among the lucky ones!

I have a left-handed 360/12 CW and will also echo what Dan said. However, I didn't buy mine for it's investment potential. Furthermore, I still kick myself for not buying a left-handed 360/6 CW when I had the opportunity.dpowell wrote:I would go for the CW, JMO. Thanks all, should be closing the deal this evening for the CW, very excited. I'll keep you posted and get some pics up when I receive the guitar.
