All, what's your thoughts on this one. Does it look legit? Has anyone ever heard of these models being faked?

That's the 2nd photo of this guitar I've seen today.

It doesn't look fake to me.

Where is it being offered for sale?

Japan. I've already pulled the trigger on it but got a bit nervous as it was an impulse purchase. It's apparently December 1967.

it looks ok to me, the biggest problem faking one like this would be the tailpiece but good foundry can always fake that too. the rest of hardware + neck could be available from some "donor" guitar....but still it looks real & it would be pointless to fake it unless it was like $10k guitar

that pricetag is crazy. I bet there are quite a few among us who would have paid double that price...

Congrats!!! That is a beauty (and a steal of a price).

I wonder if this was one of the NOS Scott Jennings guitars pulled from the factory in the early 90s? I know that not too many 12 string 360F's made it out of the factory back in the 60s..

Congrats on a steal of a deal. If I am doing the currency conversion correctly, the price quoted in the ad is about US $5400. The guitar is easily worth double that.
