Thanks Jaymi! I got it from Russ at Classic Axe in VA - it was his bass. Needed some truss rod work but I've got it under control now. The finish is awesome, that pic doesn't do it justice. It's my new sweetheart!

PS - yes that's a horseshoe on there. Same with this one ('79 crappyautobodyrefinishglo!)

Rob,

Love the goatee! Thrilled that you are loving your '81 Autumnglo 4001. Here's a picture of it when it was hanging in the store a few months ago(4th one to the left):

Wow! Ron, what store has so many Rick basses on display? Great to see the flags waving!

The strap I have is 3 1/4" wide and very comfortable.

That's my 72 4001FL, too bad it wasn't a better shot. Notice the belt buckle? No buckle rash on this boy's basses.

That´s one of my SVT heads (87 skunkworks reissue) crushing my 2 B-15 cabs. Nice combo though sounds like a big giant clear B-15. Nice warm clear sound.

Gee, I thought you'd have a wall of SVTs like Gene Simmons' ad!

Oldie but a goody. This is me and our guitar player at a halloween party last October. I'm playing "Marie", my '01 4003 fireglo.Image
