Just wanted to turn everyone on to an amazing online show. Basically it's a weekly series in which all manner of musicians come to Daryl Hall's house, hang out, and record a live acoustic set with him.
I ran across looking for a Nick Lowe clip! Check out The Bacon Brothers and (non-Christmas) John Oates shows for some dazzling playing and vocals.
Still waiting to see a Ric bass...

The Bacon Bros. do a version of Paul Weller's 'Above The Clouds' which is stunning. T Bone Wolk's leads are excellent.

Noel, thank you so much for this link! This is so cool. I'm loosing a lot of time listening.
Check out the Todd Rungren show #23. Want of a Nail
Re: Live From Daryl's House
Glad you're digging it, John! The Todd Rundgren episode is great (I'll have to tell some of Mom's stories one day -she used to live near 'the Runt' when he was in the Naz.
I've seen about half of the shows now and will steadily enjoy the rest. Wonder if MY band could somehow get on there...
On a side note, they are always eating the most delicious-looking food.

Yeah, thanks for that!
The Diane Birch bit was great. Never heard of her; clicked on it and listened.

Can we have everything louder than everything else?
