After searching for a 60's bass for about a year (a year filled with wild goose chases, con artists, rip-offs, unanswered emails). I stopped by POTR last week and made this commitment...

This came straight from Santa Ana to NJ. To the best of my knowledge this was shipped to Chris a couple weeks ago (not listed in the recently shipped page btw) to his amazement. I believe he was told it was the one and only leftover from the 60 to Japan. Amazing finish and incredible neck. SO happy I am.


Oh yeah, thanks to all at Ric who made this incredible bass and especially the person who decided to ship it to your best dealer POTR.

You are telling me. I walked in on a dead Saturday (unplanned) to drop off some computer code. Chris said to go look in that case over there. I put the case up on the counter, opened it, and stood there completely stunned. The Fireglo was perfect, the shape perfect, the neck perfect, the action perfect (straight from RIC). I asked Chris for "the story". He said it just arrived one day with no warning. He had a conversation with Kenny about it and decided to pack it away. I asked him how much, he gave me a number, I said okay.
