Baseball Project covering Dream Syndicate with 660/12 action

Post by miltric »

A thread last fall mentioned Peter Buck has been seen playing a 660/12 MID with the baseball project. Here is said band with said guitarist and said guitar, covering one of my favorite songs from the 80s underground:

That's really cool....I just downloaded that off iTunes a few weeks ago and remember The Dream Syndicate playing that when they toured with REM (Minneapolis around 1983 or so)? Peter Buck sounds....so....Peter Buck!

Yes, Baseball Project is Steve with Peter Buck, Scott McCaughey and Steve's wife Linda Pitmon. Last year they toured as "Baseball Project/Minus 5/the Steve Wynn IV" meaning essentially four people, three bands, one night... :D Brillant shows!
