Does ANYONE Know WHERE Dale Fortune Is????

Post by Lefty4003S8 »

To ALL Rickenbacker owners, players, Staff, Enthusiasts.........

Hello.
My name is Greg, I am the owner of a rare Left-Handed Rickenbacker 4003s8-string bass.
Some here might remember that I recently acquired a BEAUTIFUL 4001v63LH, which Forumite and comedian extraudinaire Jeff Scott so graciously helped in posting a VERY nice pic. on this Forum.

I am now sending this message out in the hope that SOMEBODY, SOMEWHERE will help answer this......

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE DALE FORTUNE IS??????? Without going into ALL the details, He has my RARE 4003s8-LH, and he won't answer ANY of my calls.
I last spoke with him a week before the NAMM 2010 show. At that time he sounded fine and assured me that I'd have my bass back within two weeks........How LONG is that NOW??????

Can ANYONE shed some light on his total silence????? HAPPY EASTER/PASSOVER!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You
Greg

At his house.

Let's just say that Dale suffers from periodic communication lapses. No further comment.

Apparently he's been having some health problems, but thats only what I've seen over on the BGC site.

This thread has been cleansed. Please keep posts civil and respectful and in addition avoid any attempts at lacing your posts with profanity.

For the information of those looking for Dale Fortune to lodge a complaint, he is NOT a member of this forum. Take your complaints elsewhere.

Sorry. I was trying to relate my story not only to warn others to be wary but apparently some members have also been in communication with him as of late and I would like to know if they know what his motives are. It is not a good feeling to know that one has lost not only a very rare guitar but also a large sum of money along with it.

Allen, I can understand that you are frustrated and angry about your current situation. I feel for you as I am sure many others do here also, but ours is a forum that has been built built on virtues such as trust, respect and friendship. I have a duty to protect the sanctity of this forum and that is something that I will do every time I see posts such as the ones that I deleted.

My understanding is that Dale is posting on other forums. I suggest you dig around a bit and perhaps send a few PM's to those who know him and you will most likely find him.
