Horseshoe Cover
Could I remove the cover of the horseshoe pickup? Mine is a 2009 c64
Re: Horseshoe Cover
Nelson, you have a reissue horseshoe pickup on that bass and the shoes are not magnetized. The pole rods are alnico5 rod magnets and energize the coil. Yes, you can remove the shoes, as many do who do not like the restrictions. You'll need to space up the coil the thickness of the shoes though.

Indeed it was, - following which, it was totally dismantled and exported to Western Australia, whereupon it was re-established.ken_j wrote:I believe the ranch was relocated to Motown.
By sheer coincidence, I happen to be the custodian of artifacts at the ranch.
