All of your work is awesome. My favorite is the 370-12 CB--I want one just like it.
Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
I think I smell paint fumes in the Southern Indiana breeze. Is it from you, Paul?
Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
I would be very happy if I had the chance to smell it also over here in Germany!4003 wrote:I think I smell paint fumes in the Southern Indiana breeze. Is it from you, Paul?

Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
They've stopped air traffic over Southern Indiana and Virginia, due to paint fumes in the atmosphere...Germany has its own issues having nothing to do with paint.
Most recently, I finished up these two long-term projects. You will recall that I try to give 10% of my time to my own stuff in an effort to keep things interesting on the home front? Wello, I'm failing at that--these two, along with painting two 425 bodies and putting a pickup on my Jazz-Bo, is the sum total of work on my own projects over the last 12 months or so...that's about one hour in 30 or so.
Here's Dan Powell's old Alderglo C58, which I acquired a couple of years ago and over 18 months, turned it into what I call a "C57", if such a thing ever existed...it was inspired by the Capri mule that John Hall has hanging on his office wall, which seems to have been fitted with all sorts of test parts and setups...

...then there's Melissa's TURQ 325V59, which I went nuts over the first time I laid eyes on it.
So I had this '82 MG 320:

...which I redid in late '05 to look like this:

...but I always wanted a TURQ 325. Soooo, in light of completing the "C57" in its Autumnglo burst (above), I bit the bullet and redid it in TURQ, with C58 pickguard and electronics and a genuine American, made B5.

Then there's Ron Sodano's 4003S, redone in trans blue for Ron:

I'm working this weekend, with lots going on. Some surprises.
