Been a lurker here for a while and now making my 1st post after finally acquiring my very 1st Rickenbacker. I hit a milestone birthday (one of those ending in a zero) a while back and over the course of few months got a couple of new guitars to celebrate. The first was a Fender AVRI Jazzmaster w/ a Mastery bridge to replace another JM that got stolen from my home several years ago. The second guitar was a new 2009 Ric 330/6 in Fireglo that just kindasorta fell into my lap at a price I couldn't resist. I wasn't really looking but sometimes the planets and stars just line up.
I always wanted a Ric 330/12 or 360/12 but never found one that had a neck I could get on with. I played a few 660/12's and loved the wider neck but they were too expensive plus I already own a 1966 Epiphone Wilshire 12 string that plays better than any other electric solid body 12 string I've ever encountered. Granted it doesn't sound like a Ric (and nothing does) but the Mini Humbuckers have a distinctive sound all their own. It's certainly a unique guitar and I've never seen another one like it or has anyone else who's enver seen it.
Anyway, I digress. Here's a photo of "Ruby" my newest addition:

And here's another photo of Ruby with most of her siblings including the afformentioned Jazzmaster and Epiphone Wilshire 12 respectively on the far right.

Finally, in addition to "hello" I'd also like to say "thanks" to the members of this forum for all the collective knowledge here. I've learned a lot both before and after my 1st Ric purchase. There's a wealth of info here on this forum and some fine people too!
