Just played my first on-stage show with my new MID 4003. My Ric delivered, and then some--I'm so proud of her. I believe there's some video, which I'll post appropriately upon receipt. I'm beyond excited at how great the bass sounded--everyone was quite complementary of her sound as well. I was traveling, so I rented an SWR combo, which equally delivered.
Anywho, the past weekend involved quite a bit of (wannabe) rock-star activity, from rehearsals to the show and the regular band what-not in between. As such, lots of sweat and smudges for the first time. Ewwww! I consider it her initial blessing.
I'm game for any suggestions on how to clean her up thoroughly and properly. I have no polish at the moment, but I've (of course) wiped her down since with the RIC polish cloth. Again, she's an October 2008 Midnight Blue (if it matters). You folks are great, and I thank you in advance for your advice, which I trust without question.

BUT - when you're done with the treatment, you'll need sunglasses just to look at the bass. Watch the golden highlights come out in the bubinga fretboard.
