As guidance, I recently acquired a 1981 370-WB model and it has the X-bracing.
The intersection of the x-braces has the midde pickup nestled in.... IIRC
Mine also has the step to a thinner dimension to the sound hole like Paulie mentions.

I bid on but did not win the 1980 360/12WB, but I'm still interested in the differences between the WB series and the V64 and C63 series. For example, there is currently a MG 1991 360/12 WB on e-Bay. Was the WB series replaced by the V64? Is it correct to assume that the x-bracing was no longer used in 1991 on the WB? Would the PUs also differ from the 1980 and other versions? Does the the thicker top add to the sustain? Is there another advantage? Is there a guide book you recommend that would detail the changes over the years? Thanks from a newbie to the forum and to Ric 12s.
