may be pulling the trigger....

Post by ayavner »

Guys... not sure what to think here, but I may have really gotten lucky. Found a local '97 360/12V64 in FG, by all indications in flawless condition. I was able to talk him down to $1700. Going to look at it tomorrow.

Wish me luck!! If it turns out to be in the cards, I'll post pics ASAP!

Better than a fair price. Good luck.

Thanks! Anyone know of any super-obvious things to ask or look for, besides the usual for any used guitar?

Awesome find. I'd just plug in and run the electronics through their paces. Good luck!

Well, it was the real deal, and as far as I can tell, I HIT the lottery!!! Looks like he bought it in Feb of '97 and put it in the case and that was that. Case is still new looking, guitar doesn't even have a speck of dust on it. In fact, it has the orginal strings on it, and they are even pristine still if you can imagine that.

I'll take some pics later, then I guess I have to start figuring how how to play this beast lol!!

Congrats! And, as we like to say here, it didn't happen without pictures... 8)
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Thanks!

Ugh, and of course my camera battery is dead :( Oh well, I'll see if my wife will let me use her Nikon and will report back with Proof!
