a recent community show i was in....

i have been meeting,jamming,practicing with an interesting bunch of musicians in brookings for the last few monthes since i moved here. it has been a lot of fun,and i recently participated in a 3 hour music variety show,playing 22-25 songs,most of which i feel i "scraped by". the show was recorded (audio only) and broken down into podcasts of each grouping. this was mostly just people playing cover tunes,but on this one by the danny bridges group,the 3rd song is an original written by mr d.b. when he was 15. i really like the song,it sort of reminds me of big star,which perhaps is nostalgia for the city i just moved from plus the passing of alex chilton,but if you all have some spare time,have a listen!
