When David Lee Roth's height challenged twin grabbed me round the neck, he said something complimentary about the band, I think...I couldn't tell because it souned like he was speaking Sufi, if that's possible!jingle_jangle wrote:The guys I called "freaks" have had their labels changed to "Local Dudes".
The Dudes abide.

JH referred to that guy as the "Running Man" due to his in-place dancing technique. I have the feeling he's a popular Laguna Beach character. There were a few young guys there that night trying their best to get his moves down. They weren't so good at it. He was also at SCARF '09.jingle_jangle wrote: We were cracking up...one guy, who looked at least 65, with a white pony tail, thin as a rail, get this...
...ran in place, double time, for nearly two hours straight. When he wasn't spinning like a dervish, that is. I think he could have been some sort of Sufi practitioner or something. In any event, I want to meet his cardiologist. I tried it for one song, along with some other members of the Tribe who were in their early 20s and quite athletic-looking, and we were all winded by song's end.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!

He's a local tile contractor, and a former follower of the Baghwan Shri Bajneesh (he of the multiple celebratory Rolls-Royces). That explains his repeated attendance, as well as his gyrations. I upgraded him out of respect for his potential for legendary status, not to mention his sheer stamina.

I was tired just watching him.
I had a great time at the show though. I hadn't been to the White House in some time, since when I used to live in San Clemente (the 80's
).
It was fun to hear some great music and hang out with a bunch of forumites!
