Blue Bleed

I have searched on here for the "blue bleed into the white binding" issue. Can ayone tell me exactly what time period this happened? I have a 2007 4003 and I am experiencing this problem. I realize that the warranty on the finish (it never occured to me that there is such a thing) has long since expired, but is there anything that can be done aside from a return to the plant?

I havent heard of this for a while. I'd contact RIC customer service just to see where you stand, the finish is guaranteed for 1 year under normal circumstances.

Since this is a "not-so-normal" finish issue, I'm not sure where their stance would be.
