What is/was your favorite RIC option?

Mine would have to be the BT option that's since been discontinued. It looked soo freaking cool on certain finishes, especially Jet-glo and Maple-glo.

What are yours??

Black Trim =BT
I think BT with checkboard binding and chrome hardware.

pickup swapping, definitely. Cosmetic changes are nice, but pups are a huge part of the sound.

I think the vintage case option is worth the extra dough for new instruments, these are fantastic looking and they definitely stand out from the sea of black. Of course my '67 4005WB has it's original silver "vintage" case.

Great minds think alike. IMHO, white binding is the key to the cresting wave and 360 OS bodies. I was going to put binding on my 610, but the contoured top makes that a very problematic proposition.

I like the colors and also would like to see black binding back again. I'd also love to see white come back as a option.
