Rickenbacker Production Schedule

Post by daromilian »

I know I'm not alone in wondering when the 620's will make a showing. I've been waiting a year and am about to give and buy one used...IF I can find one on eBay in Jetglo or MB. Does anyone have an inkling as to what their production schedule might look like?

Its a well kept secret. I assume you know you can check the Rickenbacker corporate site to see when those models ship, and to whom?

David: In the Rickenbacker world a wait of a year is not unusual. Buying used is an excellent idea and great value for those who want an instrument right away. From the Register, which is not definitive by any means, the last runs on the 620, six strings were in July and September 2008

I found my lefty 660/12FG that way back in Dec '08. I called the dealer and asked if it was spoken for. It wasn't and I bought it.
More recently, I found a lefty 620/6 the same way. However, in the end, I decided not to buy it.

Thanks for pointing me to the register. I'm still finding my way around the forum.

David: Take your time. If you read 100 posts per day you will get through the forum material in about 16 years. That will leave you with some time left for the register before you retire!

This run is split pretty evenly amongst all the colors too...

Nope, white. Black is the absence of all color.

Or is it white reflects all colors and contains none and black reflects no colors and retains all?
