Early clip of the band w/Leslie West already showing some cool chops and an interesting axe..hmmm that opening chord progression sounds familiar :mrgreen:

Very cool clip! Leslie is playing a Danelectro Bellzouki model 7020. This is the second version of the model from @ 1965 and was a joint venture of Danelectro and session guitarist Vinnie Bell. Here's a link that gives a break down of the guitar as well as a cool Patty Duke Show shout out!

That is far out!
Good eye Peewee.
I had the first (Teardrop) version of the Bellzouki. I got it in a package deal with a Gibson EB-3L, a '68 SF Super Reverb, matching 2 X 12 cab, and a '62 Brown Concert that had been heavily modified. The lipstick tube had been replaced with a Strat PU. It sounded OK, but looked SO cool.
