A Reverend Discussion Group fave (he has his own signature model). Here, he's channeling Hendrix through a Jetglow 620.

He's featured in a Reverend Guitar ad in this months Vintage Guitar magazine (page 73).

I haven't heard him play the Reverend guitar yet but he ROCKS the Ric 620 on that Hendrix stuff in this and the previous thread.

I typed "unknown hinson" into the search box and got nothing, which suprprised me considering how much attention the 620 got on the Rev site. Check him out on youtube-I had a hard time finding a video where he WASN'T playing a Rev. I hope someone brings a 620 with a Bigsby to the SoCal Minicom. That's a BAD mofo!

Yup, he is a truly great player. :)

Here's the other main thread, though he's mentioned in others. Search "Hinson"

Funny, Graham! LOL! I asked "Unknown" why he put down the Reverend and picked up the Rickenbacker. He told me that he had a touch of arthritis and that it was more comfortable for him to play. I gave him Kenny's number @ RIC. I sure would love to see an Unknown Hinson siganature edition 620. :-0 Probably JG with his face on the guard. Not gonna happen but it sure is nice that he can pick up a "off the shelf" model and kick major *** with it. Nice guy, terrific entertainer. :P If he's playing near you, go see him.

A great performance. Can you play Hendrix on a Rickenbacker. Just maybe.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Yes, no problem at all. I do it all the time. :D
