My reverbnation.com profile

Post by gearhed289 »

I just set up a profile at http://www.reverbnation.com/tomheslin1 with 3 songs currently posted. "No Sound" and "White Whore" feature my 4001CS, though not particularly prominently. Have a listen! Thanks. Oh, and for you prog guys, there are Taurus pedals too. :P

Great to hear your new stuff, Tom! Awesome stuff. Your singer really has a great voice. Who is she?

I started my ReverbNation profile, too. I still have a ways to go. I've also started a profile on Bandcamp. What I like about Bandcamp is that they not only ALLOW you to post & sell your songs in hi-fi quality (AIFF, WAV, etc) but they DON'T accept krappy MP3 files. When you sell your music, it's good to know that it's CD quality. I don't like that RN truncates your songs if you post at a higher MP3 bitrate, though. Their audio file limitations are pretty stringent. But RN is totally hooked into Facebook, so they probably have more traffic than Bandcamp at present.

How has the RN site been working for you, Tom? To me the format looks similar to Soundclick. If you don't mind commenting here, has it been lucrative in music sales?
