Re: Hole
Wow, Courtney looks pretty good (for her) in that vid.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!
Re: Hole
Just something else she co-opted from Kat Bjelland(along with the babydoll dresses). Kat got her Ric in 1982!collin wrote: Courtney's been playing Rickenbackers since 1990, if not earlier. She's always been rocking the classy axes!axe!!
Great Ramp In My Opinion.

Oh....she actually PLAYS as opposed to using the guitar as a prop, hanging half way down her shins, so she can hardly reach the fretboard.....
Or am I out of date?

She's had so much surgery at this point... she can't even breathe through her nose it seems. Yet no one doggs her about it like they did with Michael Jackson.
Great Ramp In My Opinion.
Re: Hole
I just had another look at the vid and I take it back, this time, the lovely Rick is in a sensible place, but she isn't in time and she only plays one chord. I think it is the same chord she plays for all the other songs ever recorded!!!!
I never understood why Kurt Cobain left that lovely, if homely, girl he had grown up with, to be with Ms Love. Perhaps if he had stayed with his old girlfriend, he would still be here.......
.......just a thought.

A good thought, I really like that comment .....Rickygirl wrote: I never understood why Kurt Cobain left that lovely, if homely, girl he had grown up with, to be with Ms Love. Perhaps if he had stayed with his old girlfriend, he would still be here.......

Re: Hole
I like her music, but hate the new Smashing Pumpkins record. Her band is good, not too visually exciting though. Billy Corgan's band is HORRIBLEegosheep wrote:
As for "her music", if you like it then you'll love the new smashing pumpkins record.

The good guys don't always win.

Who? Tracy Marander?
Pretty simple. Tracy wasn't a borderline Rock star, though she was a great woman who supported Kurt.
Hole was much bigger than Nirvana in 1990. Not saying Kurt specifically went for somebody more famous than him, but it sounds reasonable.
Maybe if he never met Courtney we wouldn't know who he was? Just another thought!

There's debate about who started that look.....Courtney argues vehemently that Kat lifted it from her.
She also claims the Rics were influenced by Peter Buck, even though he never played a 425.
