Just a quick thanks for the responses guys - I'll be going with Pickguardian (once I get paid!).
Will stick a photo up after it's done.
One more question though - would the pickup cover be compatible with a horseshoe surround?

Re: Pickguards.
While we are on the subject of pickguards.... I want to change my black guard for a white one on my '89 4003s. I spoke with Kenny @ RIC today about my trc and when we got around to the pickguard he said he wasn't so sure that a current 4003 guard would line up with the screw holes on my bass and said Pickgaurdian may be my best bet to have one made. While I certainly wouldn't doubt Kenny's knowledge, does anyone have any real world experience with current off the shelf pickguards (from either RIC or Pickguardian) fitting on a late '80's 4003? If the difference is very slight maybe I could live with it.

Re: Pickguards.
Matt, the best thing you can do, is trace your current pickguard and then send the tracing to Tony at Pickguardian. Then you are sure to get a good fit.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!
