BTW, this one is a different shape, it is a vintage style pickguard.

Welcome Craig. I usually do not like pearloid guards, but that one on the striking FG looks very very nice.fluffy wrote:Here ya go, here's a family portrait. if you notice , that's an after market Pearloid pickguard on my bass.. I just couldn't resist

I had originally ordered the pickguard (it's a WD now that I think about it) for my first 4003 which unfortunately was stolen before the pickguard arrived... now, 15 years later and an altogether new Ric I finally made it back to the music shop that ordered it for me, since I'd been doing business with them for better of 20 years they kept it around for me "Just in case"

Late to the party once again. Welcome to the RRF, Craig. Everything that has been said so far has more truth to it than you might at first think; that RAS is very contagious, that while it may go into remission, you're never cured, and this really is a great place to find out all you ever wanted to know about all things Rickenbacker. Lots and lots of really great folks here, too.

oooohhhh!!!! that is nice!! that's something to think about if I add a JG to my collection .. I really like that combinationjps wrote:Welcome, Craig!
You need to replace that pearloid pickguard with one of these from Pickguardian; the material matches the inlays!
