At the Minus 5 gig in Colchester, England a few years ago he took off his glasses (one'd suspect he was born with them) for almost the whole 2nd half of the gig. One of the best versions of the "Ballad of John & Yoko" I ever heard with John Ramberg, Scott, & Robyn Hitchcock on shared vocals 8)

Add one Mitch Easter and some sort of cosmic disruption would surely occur!

ooops I just realized I threw in an unnecessary "N" in Mr. McCaughey's name. my apologies, and also for living so close to Seattle and never looking into Young Fresh Fellows until just recently.... but here's a picture of him with the appropriate bass for this particular forum.

So, does Scott own the MID bass?
Peter Buck uses it sometimes as well, or do they both have one?

Scott is one of the nicest people I've ever met in 'the business'. He produced a weekend of studio time a band of mine did years ago at Egg in Seattle and it was the best recording experience of my life. A real gentlemen, and the Young Fresh Fellows were HUGE here in Victoria. Last time I saw them they opened for Cheap Trick ('98 in Seattle) and a truly magical night. Scott, I hope you're feeling the love wherever you are.
