Fireglo-bal-warming- that overwhelming sense of excitement and glee that engulfs your very soul as you open the case on your new Fireglo Rickenbacker and breathe in that wonderful aroma. :D :D :D

It sure has, Scottie! 8)

After arriving from Athens, Greece on a scenic tour of Holland that took 3 days thanks to the guys in the brown vans with three golden letters who claimed my address of 8 years doesn't exist, so send it across the whole country!. It sat for more than a day at my greek neighbours, who brought it to me after work today - I got the case out of the bubblewrap (yes, that was all around the case) and found a guitar that was tuned too low on high E, b & g and too high on d, a and low e!

I must say I always play my 360 JG on bridge setting for 99% of the time - yet the 340 FG I messed with on neck & middle setting for most of the time just now. On bridge setting is jangles way more than my 360. Love it! Also the dark FG colour. Checked under the scratchplate and the number's the same as on the jackplate: 08 34477. The number's written in almost female gracefullness inside!

Ooh, nice double bound FG... don't get me going on RAS now, ehh

I'll see if I can take a bigger picture when there's more light (with my rubbish camera)

Scott, that is one beautiful FireGlo. The double binding is perfect for it. Congrats on a very fine instrument.
