Hi, all - new to the forum. Just wanted to introduce myself and say how awesome it is that there is a community to share our love of the best instruments in the world.

Hi Jay, and welcome to the RRF. There is a lot to learn about our favorite instruments. Stick around, post often, and share our disease....um....passion....umm RAS (Rickenbacker Acquisition Syndrome)

Hey Jay, welcome to the fray! From your avatar, it would appear you have a Mapleglo 4003! How about posting a few pictures for us Ric-O-Porn junkies to admire... :D
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've been doing some heavy-duty searching and there is a wealth of knowledge here. What an awesome resource! (no pun intended)

This is the friendliest guitar forum I have ever been to. Lots of good people and no attitudes. I'm sure you'll like it here.

Even the president of Rickenbacker chimes in once in a while. That's impressive. You won't see King Henry The Arrogant of Gibson posting on any forums.
