New 4003 and Amp

Post by Len »

Hey there! I finally got around to taking photos today.

This is my bass and amp rig. It sounds GREAT! Some of you may recognize this bass. It's a darling! The bass came from the forum (Thanks Jeff!) and the amp came from Craigslist (Thanks Craig!) I replaced the speakers with some Jensen Mods and have a really cool old school set up.

Ya know? That peraloid pickguard almost makes me want a Jetglo 4003...

Very nice! :D
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I never get tired of seeing pictures of that bass. Love me some JG, and that's a smokin' example that sold for a great price. I just couldn't justify it at the time...
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

It's a Carr speaker cabinet. I had it outside for the photography session. It doesn't work too well with the Bassman, as the external speaker output is a sad joke.

The pickguard is pretty sweet, isn't it? I'd like to send all my guitars to Jeff for upgrades.

Nah, ain't gonna happen. That pickguard is about the only way to get any sort of grain and flame on a Jetglo...

You could quickly unpack it from the cold one winter. That would put a pattern in the finish.

JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Congratulations! This must sound sweet. I was and still am a big fan of Rickenbacker's and Bassman (alike) amps.
