We can't wait to play our brand of PunkMerseybeat in the cellar where it all started!
We're doing two shows the first is at the Cavern Pub on Friday May 28, 4pm. The second
will be on Sunday the 30th at 11pm. We're part of the IPO festival...there will tons of great
bands from all over the world! Did I mention that it's FREE!!! There's no reason not to show!!!

No! It automatically make me the frustrated guitar player!!! Kidding, I'm really enjoying playing the bass these days...
although my 6 strings & 12's are getting lonely, and jealous!
We had a BLAST in Liverpool, and are planning to go back. Originally, we were scheduled for 2 shows, but ended up doing
2 more when others couldn't make it!
The people there are tops! Everywhere we went we were treated to healthy doses of Liverpool hospitality!
Go into a pub and within a half hour you'll be whooping it up with the locals, and have mates for life!
And the women...as Norton would say...VA VA VOOM!

- Me at The Jacaranda Club. Behind me is a mural that was painted over long ago and uncovered a few years back when the club re-opened...purportedly the work of John Lennon and Stu Sutcliffe . A spooky cellar...you can feel the spirits lurking!

- Hanging out with our new hero...Sam Leech! THE MAN! He's a pioneer. One of the first promoters of R&R events in Liverpool, and was responsible for putting on the famous Operation Big Beat shows...amongst others, that included The Beatles of course! He's still a big time operator...still promotes music and runs a modeling agency!
We had the great honour of having him step in front of the mic and say a few words at one of our shows!!!

- The next day we ran into Sam late night at The Shanghi...great Chinese place. One of the only places around where you can chow down after a night of cavorting! Check out Sam with one of his girls...he does alright for a 74 year old, 'ey?

Awesome stories, Tony. I'm sure there are more to be told as well. Thanks for posting! Inspiring to see Mr. Leech in action. I think I'll write a song called "When I'm 74"
